Yamaha introduced the Royal Star in 1996. Then in 1999 they added to the Star line with the introduction of two new models. To compliment the Royal Star was the new Royal Star Venture that continued the dominance of the four cylinder cruiser market. Also introduced was the 1602cc V-Twin Road Star.  “Shooting Star” was born out this new Road Star creation.   Would you like to see My Stars?

STAR is the Star owners association, started in February, 1997 and is now the official users group for Yamaha - USA.  I am a Charter Member and you can find out more about our association by visiting our web site:
